What is the cancellation policy?
All reservations will be final and non-refundable. If you are unable to make it to your reservation, please transfer your reservation to another person, or reschedule for another date. Deposit will not also be refunded or returned for No-Show. Any changes in reservation must be made at least 72 hours prior to your reservation date. We also regret there will be no refund for any reductions in party size.
In the event a reservation is not fulfilled, or for any cancellation made within 7 days of the reservation date, no refund will be issued against the deposit. In exceptional circumstances, we will always do our best to work with you to find a suitable solution.
If you wish to modify your reservation, please inform the restaurant at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled time by calling us at +63 960 468 8829 (available on both Viber and Whataspp). Failure to show for your reservation will be deemed as a sale and no refunds will be issued.
Can you cater to dietary requirements?
We can usually cater for most health- or allergy-related dietary requests with prior notice and do our best to adapt the menu according to each guest’s dietary requirements. We can also offer a No-Raw menu for pregnancy, and Vegetarian and Vegan options. We would advise making note of any dietary requests and please be specific and let us know confirmation of your reservation.
However, we cannot offer strictly Jain and Halal menus.
Can I book for 12 pax or more on the website’s reservation page?
Our online booking system only allows bookings for up to 12 pax. For groups of more than 12 pax, please call our reservation office at +63-960-4688829 (available on Viber and Whatsapp), so we can manually book your reservation for you.
Can I make seating arrangements for a group of 12 guests or more?
Sialo is an intimate space, and we don’t have a private room. We only offer tables for 1-12 guests. Group of 13 persons and up will have to be seated in separate tables. To discuss any specific requirements, such as reservations for multiple tables, please contact our reservations team.
Sialo is also available for private hire events for 13 up to 30 guests. Please get in touch with our reservations team at [email protected] to find out more.
How can I confirm my reservation?
Your reservation will not be confirmed without a deposit payment of Php 2,000 per person upon reservation. Payment for your reservation deposit is made online by credit or debit card and e-wallets at the time of reservation, via our payment agent, Paymaya. Methods of payment are regulated by Paymaya.
Your deposit shall be deducted from your final bill at the end of the meal.
Should you wish to pay through other means (e.g. bank transfer or on-site card payment), please contact our reservations team.
What does my deposit entitle me to?
Your deposit covers a fraction of the cost of the menu selected for your selected number of diners, as detailed in your email confirmation. However, extras, such as beverages and service charge, are in addition and paid for at the end of your meal.
Can I make a reservation without the deposit?
The deposit is required to confirm all reservations. For card payments, please have your mobile phone near you (with the phone number registered with your bank), in case an OTP (or, one-time-passcode) is needed to confirm your card payment.
If you encounter issues or errors on our payment page, please don’t hesitate to contact us on Viber or Whatsapp at +63-960-4688829. We’d be glad to be of assistance.
Is there a waiting list if I am unable to make a reservation?
We currently don’t have a waiting list. Please visit sialocebu.com/reservations for availability.
On dates that are no longer open for reservations, especially when you book on the same date of reservation (cutoff time for same-day bookings is 3 hours before reservation time), please contact our reservations team directly for assistance and to confirm availability.
Will I receive communication from Sialo regarding details of my reservation?
Prior to your reservation date, our team will be in touch to confirm details such as dietary restrictions or celebrations or occasions, as well as email reminders on your reservation.
Can I buy Sialo gift card/s?
Gift Cards are available to purchase online at sialocebu.com/gifts/.
Please note that purchase of a gift card does not guarantee a reservation. An advance booking is still necessary and must be done either by sending us a reservation request via email at [email protected], or at sialocebu.com/reservations. Extra charges may still be payable, in cases like final bill exceeds the gift card amount. Gift cards have validity period.
The Gift Card is still subject to our standard cancellation and booking policy, and transferrable but cannot be exchanged for cash. Photocopies will not be honored.
Can I sell my reservation?
Your reservation is transferrable to another party, friends or family, should you not be able to attend
yourself. Please inform our reservations team ahead of the reservation.
What are the opening and closing times of the restaurant?
We are open for lunch from 12pm to 3pm, and for dinner from 6pm to 10pm, Tuesdays to Sundays. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and on certain regular Philippine holidays.
What is the dress code?
We do not have a dress code policy; as a restaurant on a tropical island, we are pretty much cool about clothing as a personal expression. However, we suggest smart casual attire, and appropriate footwear; and discourage wearing of strong-smelling perfume.
Can I bring my own bottle of wine to the restaurant?
Yes, you can. But we charge a corkage fee of Php 800 per bottle opened. We cannot guarantee, though, that the wine you’ll bring in may be a good match with your entire meal. So, we suggest calling our reservations team first to get wine recommendations, to enjoy the most of your Sialo experience.
Do you have a service charge?
Yes, a customary service charge of 10% on the total value of your meal, including drinks, and this will be added to your final bill.
How can I pay my final bill?
You can pay your final bill at Sialo by credit or debit card, GCash, online fund transfer, and in cash.
How long should we allot to enjoy the Sialo Experience?
The whole menu is an orchestrated series of courses that we meticulously prepared and must be served with proper timing and at appropriate temperature. So, we highly suggest that you reach the restaurant on time or a few minutes ahead of your reservation time to allow yourselves about 3-4 hours to enjoy the meal comfortably. Because traffic in Cebu is unpredictable, please give yourself enough travel time to reach the restaurant on time. Or, give us a call right away when you’re running late.
Are children allowed in the restaurant?
Children are welcome in the restaurant, and in fact, we offer a 5-course Kid’s Menu for those under 10 years of age for Php 2,300 (price is subject to change). Upon reservation, please indicate the number of kids and write a request for the Kid’s Menu, along with their food allergies and restrictions. Please contact our Reservations for other inquiries.
Is there a car-parking facility at Sialo?
Situated inside a residential property in a residential village, Sialo does not have a car-parking facility. Streetside parking slots are designated for our customers outside the property, and a parking assistant will be there to help you.
